At the real heart of our program is our field staff. It is through their day to day efforts that we are able to offer a quality program; both in terms of safety and therapeutic value. We will give preferential consideration to applicants expressing a desire to participate in our yearlong contract since this enhances the delivery of services to our clients.
Our program is rigorous but offers excellent outcomes for our participants. Trail staff will be with their groups for three week trips and two weeks off. The whole experience is culminated with an intense 3 day "Family" group session. All needed equipment is supplied you with the exception of a good compass. Wages for trail staff range between $70 to $135/day.
Compliance with the State of Utah licensing regulations requires each new hire to participate successfully in a 21 day internship. ($60/day + food & equipment). This allows an opportunity for both employee and employer to look each other over. It is anticipated that the new employee will use this time to acquire and/or demonstrate abilities specific to the job position they wish to fill next.
Please browse our website to get a sense of what we are about. We are definitely not comfort campers! Although not survivalists we could be described accurately as minimalists. Applicants in recovery with at least a six months sobriety are welcome.
